The Stranger by the Shore

Shun Hashimoto, who lives on a remote island of Okinawa, befriends Mio Chibana, a lonely high school student who has lost his parents; the two boys become close friends. In order to grow up faster, Mio decides to leave the island, and the two gradually lose touch. Three years later, Mio appears before Shun again and boldly confesses his feelings.
