Wild Summer

Chen Ye, a third-year university student, formed a team to enter a design competition and found Xia Zhizi, a freshman who excels at drawing. Throughout the summer they spent preparing side by side, the two were together morning and night, staying up late to revise their design proposal and sharing iced Americanos. There was no dramatic love at first sight—only a quiet, enduring spark that grew slowly. Xia Zhizi silently captured Chen Ye's profile with a paintbrush, hiding the feelings that were never spoken aloud. That sweltering summer held a secret only the two of them knew, as youthful feelings quietly fermented in the summer evening breeze.
