Secret: The Forbidden Boss

Three years ago, Lin Yan shared a secret with a stranger—one that could never be spoken aloud. No name, no phone number, only an old lighter left behind. Three years later, Lin Yan joins a new company, only to discover that the man has become his direct superior—Pei Zhihe. In front of everyone, they are nothing but a cold boss and his subordinate; where no one can see, they cross the line again and again. Pei Zhihe will shoot down his proposal in public, yet lose complete control whenever someone gets close to him. Until Lin Yan discovers that Pei Zhihe has kept that lighter for three whole years. “I looked for you.” “How long?” “Three years.” A relationship that can never be made public begins again. But when rumors surface, Pei Zhihe denies it in front of everyone: “We're just boss and subordinate.” This time, Lin Yan doesn't want to run anymore. Just because their colleagues can't know doesn't mean they can't be together.
